Earthworms are not native to most of Canada and are invading our forests

Earthworms can harm native forest plants and animals by eating leaf litter from the forest floor.

Help stop these invasions by throwing your unused earthworm bait in the trash or storing it for your next fishing trip – DO NOT dump your bait on land or in water.
